Week 11: November 30-December 4
Please listen to the book Sky Color by Peter H Reynolds (This is the same author that wrote The Dot and Ish). After you hear the book, please look at some of the pictures to see the variety of skies that are out there and then create your own.... if you want, you may draw one you see on your own paper by looking closely and then drawing from observation.
Challenge: If you have the chance, try to spend some time this week observing the sky with your own eyes. Try to look out at the sky different at times of the day too (especially early in the morning and late at night as the sun is rising and setting). If you are able, create a sky journal by drawing small pictures of some of the different skies you see (I would take one or two papers folded in half two times so there are four small spaces on each paper). Try to draw at least 4 different colored skies that you see over this week during your observations.
